Get GNR

Mine it today. Trade it later.

GNR is not traded on any exchange yet, and nobody sells it on behalf of the project: there was no premine and there is no presale. Today you get GNR the way everyone does, by mining it, and you earn from your first share.

Reference value
—per GNR

Estimated electricity cost to mine one GNR with today's network, at $0.15 per kWh. This is not a price: GNR is not traded yet, so no market has set one.

Assumes every miner is an RTX 5090 (about 74 MH/s at its 575 W board power) and counts electricity only, no hardware. As soon as swaps complete on the wallet's offer board, the market price (their 24-hour median, set by the people trading) takes its place here and in the wallet.

Mine it available now

Install the wallet, open Mining and press Start mining. It uses your GPU (NVIDIA or AMD/Intel) or your CPU, and pays you in proportion to your share of the work.

Buy on an exchange not yet

GNR is not listed anywhere yet. We are applying to exchanges that list privacy-focused proof-of-work coins. Listings will be announced only on genoryn.io and on GitHub; treat any other "GNR market" as a scam until then.

Swap BTC ⇄ GNR in the wallet from block 3,300

Atomic swaps exchange Bitcoin and GNR directly between two people: either both sides receive their coins or both get their own back. There is no exchange, no custody and no account. The wallet's Swap tab has an offer board: publish an offer at your own price, or take someone else's, and the two wallets do the rest. The network upgrade that switches swaps on activates at block 3,300 (about a day after release 1.0.13): update your wallet and node before then. Read how it works in docs/spec/atomic-swaps.md.
